  • THCa Small Buds – My Top 3 Strains! (Best Options So Far)

    I’ve tried at least 13 different strains from THCa Small Buds so far, and these are my three favorites so far, based on effects, nose and cure.

    3. Pink Dirt 🥉

    Slightly diesel, slightly earthy hint to the smell, but it’s not that potent or loud. Despite that, it is a very enjoyable terp profile to me.

    The nugs are dense, perfectly moist and very sticky. The trichomes pull apart like a cheese pizza, which is a beautiful sign that I love.

    Smoke is very smooth on this one, not all that flavorful but feels good.

    Effects wise, it’s fire, very potent. A bit of a creeper, and I’d say slightly sativa dominant. It takes a little bit to kick in fully, but it’s an uplifting, glowy high with a relaxing body buzz as well.

    2. M.O.B (Money Over Bitches) 🥈

    (Not to be confused with ‘Mother of Berries,’ a different strain)

    Nose is heavy on sweet, sugary, fruity berries. Reminds me a lot of that classic blueberry nose.

    Effects are indica heavy, very big body buzz, with a potent, relaxing, calming euphoria. Smoke is very smooth and flavorful.

    1. Sour Tangie 🥇

    Pretty loud, sour, dank tropical fruit nose.

    Nugs are pretty sticky, feels like it was cured just about perfectly. I can tell this is some fresh flower, in a great way.

    The high feels like a creative sativa to me, gets me motivated and energized, ready to create some art.

    Conclusion:

    Overall, out of the 13 strains I’ve had from TSB so far, I’ve been happy & surprisingly impressed with most of them, but these three rise above the rest as my favorites so far. Hope this helps, and take care! 🙂

    Genetics: Strawberry Fields x Haze

    Super loud nose, you can definitely smell the strawberry in it. I’m a little bit surprised at how prominent the actual strawberry scent is. There’s a sour skunkiness to it that really fills up my apartment, as well.

    Hits me like a strong sativa, for sure. Very happy, cerebral, and euphoric. Body feels calm and very not anxious, but this is still a potent one in the uplifting mental effects.

    Nose is decently loud: Sour, dank tropical fruit.

    Nugs are pretty sticky, feels like it was cured just about perfectly. I can tell this is some fresh flower, in a great way.

    The high feels like a creative sativa to me, gets me motivated and energized, ready to create some art. I really like this one, it’s easily in my top 3 from THCa Small Buds.

    Genetics: Chemdawg x Hindu Kush

    First and foremost, this flower is super seeded! I pulled 17 seeds out of my 7g bag. Despite this, the flower really isn’t all that bad, certainly better than most heavily-seeded flower I’ve seen.

    It has a strong, classic OG nose; Kushy, pine, citrus, a little gassy. Just what I hope for when ordering an OG.

    Hits me like a hybrid with pretty equal, distinct effects of both indica and sativa. Very calm and relaxing, yet happy and uplifting. This one gets me feeling more giggly and chatty than usual.

    Overall, not bad at all, and some people might even want the seeds as a little addition.

    The flower was cheaper than usual, and I’m sure the seeds are why. For the price, it’s still pretty great.

    Genetics: Purple Urkle x Big Buds

    This one has a pretty strong nose, big on sweet candy & fruity grape.

    It hits like an indica dominant hybrid, to me. Not the strongest bud ive had by any means, and definitely not quite the same GDP as I remember from 2010, but a solid flower none-the-less. Relaxing, calm, slightly euphoric.

    Nose is decently loud, very earthy and nutty. Solid, but not my preferred terp profile, personally.

    Hits me like a sativa, it gets me motivated with a good energy to it. Happy, confident, upbeat vibes with a relaxing happiness, no anxiety at all in this one.

    The nugs are sticky and moist, it seems to be cured very well. I’m happy with this one!

    Gatorade by THCa Small Buds


    Genetics: Cherry Dosi x Melonade


    Nose is big on sweet, orange citrus, with a little bit of spicy, earthy background to it.


    Effects are strongly sativa, to me. They come on hard and fast, a strong, happy, euphoric, energetic rush right off the bat. It seems to last a long time too, hours before it comes down much.


    The nugs aren’t dry, but they aren’t that sticky or moist either, little bit ‘meh’ on that front.


    Overall, very solid for the price!

    I grabbed a quarter pound of 4 different essential tier, ‘small bud’ strains from LIT Farms.

    Of the 4 strains I grabbed, 3 were pretty great for the $35/oz price tag. Only one was a miss, that I wouldn’t grab again. 75% success rate isn’t terrible for such deep budget flower, in my opinion.

    So, here are the strains I got, in order from most favorite to least favorite.

    #1: Runtz

    Runtz is my absolute favorite of this haul, I can’t even believe it’s in this category. The nugs look amazing, they’re perfectly moist, the nose is LOUD & dank, & the high is nice, strong & exactly what I expect from Runtz, an awesome hybrid effect.

    If you get any smalls options, I would definitely recommend this one first!

    #2: Pink Pluto

    Pink Pluto is my second favorite. The nugs are a little bit dry, but the smell is fantastic & strong, and the bag appeal is great. A solid, indica dominant high.

    #3: Garlic Sauce

    Garlic Sauce is my third favorite. Nice bag appeal, surprisingly moist & sticky, but not much nose on this one. Decent hybrid effects, not the most potent, but a decent daily driver.

    #4: Blue Andies

    Blue Andies is the worst of this haul, by a long shot. Big nugs, but they look disgusting; old and super brown. The smell is even worse, with a certain gross mildew scent to it. I’m not going to try this one.

    Overall:

    Of the four ounces, the only one I wouldn’t buy again is the Blue Andies, for obvious reasons. The other three really surprised me for the price, and I would grab them again for sure.

    Buds are beautiful, frosty, and exactly how i remember GG

    The high hits me like a potent hybrid at first, a nice happy, euphoric rush. Then it settles into a super indica feeling, tired couch lock for a long time
