  • THCa Small Buds: First Impressions (Light Assist) – Hyper Za & Gary Payton

Save 5% at TSB – Code ‘TEN’ or ‘FIVE’

(All TSB Discounts Recently Changed From 10% to 5%)

For my first time trying THCa Small Buds, I grabbed two options from the ‘Light Assist’ category, ‘Hyper Za’ & ‘Gary Payton.’

Each bag was $14/7g, which is a lot cheaper than I usually go for, so my expectations were not very high. But, I wanted to check out the hype on this place, and these bags definitely exceeded my expectations for the price!

Right off the bat, the smell on both is strong and very dank, it really fills up the room. The Hyper Za smells especially potent, but they both smell great.

They both have a perfect amount of stickiness and moisture to them as well, neither bag is dry at all.

Hyper Za has a very sweet, vanilla, doughy smell to it, with VERY potent effects. It started off as a strong euphoria for me, which slowly faded into a couchlocked, heavy indica type of vibe. I was surprised at how strong this was for the price!

Gary Payton has a more earthy, spicy smell to it, with a more balanced, gentle hybrid feeling high. More of a relaxing, mood lifting buzz with less potent effects, but still nice, better suited for a daytime smoke.

    Gary Payton, TSB Light Assist

Overall, considering this is budget smoke, I wasn’t expecting to love it very much, but this order was great! I would grab more, and I definitely recommend it if you’re looking to stock up on good herb for a great price.

  • Coldfire Vs. Flavorade: Best Cart?? (Cured Resin)

When it comes to carts, Coldfire and Flavorade are consistently two of the most well-regarded brands. So, I grabbed one of each from ClubHouse Drops, and put them to the test.

(Check it out on YouTube here)

    Hardware:

    Coldfire: 4/5

    Flavorade: 4.4/5

Both of them use the same style of cart hardware, a ceramic cart with a screw on, thin-barreled tip. I gave this a 4/5 on each, because I prefer certain other hardware (barrel tips), but this definitely still does a good job.

Flavorade gets some bonus points for throwing in a cute little rubber cart-protector, which they call the “Flavor-shield.” It’s meant to be placed around the cart to protect it from falls, and it’s effective. I really enjoy this little add-on.

    Flavor:

    Coldfire: 3/5

    Flavorade: 5/5

I tried the ‘Apple Crisp’ strain from Coldfire, and the ‘Biscotti Pound Cake’ strain from Flavorade. The ‘Apple Crisp’ had a very slight apple taste, but felt mostly flavorless and bland. The hint of apple taste went away entirely after a couple days of use.

The ‘Biscotti Pound Cake’ had a strong, absolutely delicious flavor that coats my mouth in a great way, and has lasted through this past week of use, much longer than the ‘Apple Crisp’ did.

    Effects:

    Coldfire: 4/5

    Flavorade: 5/5

The effects from the Coldfire are nice and strong, but feel a little bit plain to me. It feels like more of a typical ‘concentrated thc’ high that just lacks direction.

The Flavorade hits a little bit harder, and feels like more of a full-bodied, well-rounded high that just feels like a better experience overall.

    Conclusion:

    Coldfire: 11/15

    Flavorade: 14.4/15

To me, Flavorade is the clear winner of this competition. I’d happily enjoy either, but I’ll be grabbing Flavorade as my personal go-to from here on out.

Thanks for reading, and hope this helps someone make their decision! Take care 🙂

Shoutout to Clubhouse Drops for the magic 😉

  • Purple Punch – LIT Farms THCa Flower (Supreme Tier) Review

Save $$ @ LIT Farms by Clicking Here!

Lineage: Larry OG x Grand Daddy Purple

Nose: Sour grape, like a kool-aid flavor. Not quite the same as all the other Purple Punch cuts I’ve had in the past, it’s missing a little bit of that classic “cookies” aroma.

Nose doesn’t translate well to flavor at all, and it has a bit of a harsh smoke.

Effects: Strong, mostly indica. Starts with a happy, energetic burst of euphoria, but soon levels out into a calm, relaxing, dreamy and sleepy kind of feeling.

  • Gelato #33 – LIT Farms THCa Flower (Eighth) Review

Lineage: Sunset Sherbert x Thin Mint GSC

The 8ths came individually vacuum sealed, and the second i opened this ones seal, the smell came rushing out. it’s loud, with a really good lemony, fruity dank nose. It’s one of those jars that I just keep opening purely to smell it. Even when the smell is the same, it’s like glass just makes it better.

It hits me like a pretty even hybrid, gave me a nice bit of energy but with enough relaxation to keep it steady. Starting my morning off on a good note today!

  • Gumbo – LIT Farms THCa Flower (Eighth) Review

Save $$ @ LIT Farms by Clicking Here!

    Lineage: Unknown

Nose: Big on pine, with maybe a slightly bubblegummy background. The nose was stronger on the gelato jar, but i like the profile of this one more.

Effects: Strong, and hit very indica heavy, for me. A bowl takes me out of the day for a few hours, makes me real couchlocked and ready for a nap. It’s good and strong, but not very good for day time IMO. I definitely need to save this one for night time.

Cereal Milk, by CannaBiotix, from ClubhouseDrops

Strawberry Lemonade x Thicc Mint Cookies #15

Amazing cure, super sticky, perfect nugs. Nose is mostly cream, with some hints of dank spice. Feels like an indica in the sense that it made me spacey, zoned out and forgetful, just pure happy and stoney. But there’s very little couch-lock or tiredness for me, I’m still feeling motivated enough to go do the dishes and bump some music, lol.

I could see this settling down into a more tired high later on for sure, but I just took a few rips and I’m absolutely cruising.

  • Team Elite Genetics: Tropical Juicebox – Clubhouse Drops

    — Copped from Clubhouse Drops

Lineage: Orange Juice x Pearadise #4

Bag Appeal: Incredible! Hand trimmed, perfectly grown, beautiful orange pistils extending so far from the flower.. she’s a beauty.

Nose: Sweet, lemon, earthy, a little pine. Notes of an OG Kush, maybe a hint of pineapple. Not the strongest scent, but a nice, clean, delicious one.

Effects: I’d say 80/20 sativa is about right. Right off the first hit, there’s a very potent, uplifting, motivating, cerebral, creative high. It eventually settles into a pure, calm euphoria and relaxation, but without any grogginess, laziness or brain fog. Great for day time seshes or wake n bakes.

Overall, this is a smooth sativa, and it’s currently a regular part of my wake n bake rotation.

  • Clubhouse Drops Vs. California Dispensary – 710 Labs Flower

Save $ At ClubHouse Drops – Click Here!

710 Labs is a real California brand that consistently puts out some of the highest quality flower on the market.

So, when I saw it on ClubHouse Drops, I was a little bit skeptical. But, I was going to be in California soon, so I decided to place my first order with CHD, to compare it to the California equivelant.

Click Here for the Youtube video I made about it.

In California, I went to a dispensary and grabbed 710’s ‘Donny Burger’ for $60/8th. The flower was fantastic, very terpy, resinous, dank and potent. It was everything I want in a flower, even the ash left a sticky streak on my hands.

When I got back home, I went to CHD and grabbed 710’s ‘Cake Crasher’ for $50/8th. The packaging was exactly the same, and even showed that this one was a month fresher. The flower itself 100% lived up to the standards I expected, and made me a full-on Clubhouse believer, it erased every doubt in my mind.

This flower was just as terpy, resinous, dank and potent, with the same ash and everything. With enough experience, it’s not too hard to tell when bud is from the same grower, and this one passed the test.

I’ve placed several, larger orders since then, and been just as pleased every time. If you’re looking for the true top tier, craft experience, and you’re willing to pay for it, Clubhouse is 100% the way to go.

  • LIT Farms Smalls – Worth It? Sour Lemon Essentials

Sour Lemon Essential Smalls – $30/Ounce at LITFarms.com

I decided to try out some small buds from LIT Farms, and I’m glad I did. I was sleeping on this option for WAY too long! This was a $30/ounce, yet it’s just about as quality as most supreme tier options that I get in.

The buds are nice and frosty, just packed with beautiful trichomes.

The nose was strong sour citrus, exactly what you’d expect based on the name. Translates well to flavor, with a nice smooth smoke in a joint. It also produces a nice little resin ring on the joint, which you can see in the video below.

Effects are very strong sativa for me, hitting me almost like a cup of coffee. It’s almost too strong for me personally, it’s a rush!

Overall, I’m absolutely amazed that this was a $30 ounce. I had lower expectations for these essential smalls ounces, but they blew me out of the water. I would actually recommend this!
