Champelli (Light assist) by THCa Small Buds
Genetics: Champagne x Cherry Pie x Gelatti
Nose is heavy on rubber & oil, almost skunky, dank and smells loud.
It hits me like a hybrid, pretty even with a calming body buzz, and creative, uplifting head high. Not the strongest IMO, and not my favorite of this haul, but definitely solid. Maybe more of a personal thing, if anything.

Tony Gwynn Gelato – THCa Small Buds (Light Assist Category)
The nose is pretty earthy mostly, not exactly my favorite. Not as strong as I’d like, either.
Smoke is a little bit harsh on the inhale.
But, effects wise, it’s fire, a heaavvyyy indica. It’s got me relaxed and moving in slow motion when I’m not couch locked.
Overall, this one was kind of a rollercoaster for me. I opened the bag and saw the sticky frosty buds, liked what I saw. Then, the nose had my expectations lower, but it wound up being a winner 🤷♂️ especially for 14/7. I’d definitely grab this one again!
For my first time trying THCa Small Buds, I grabbed two options from the ‘Light Assist’ category, ‘Hyper Za’ & ‘Gary Payton.’
Each bag was $14/7g, which is a lot cheaper than I usually go for, so my expectations were not very high. But, I wanted to check out the hype on this place, and these bags definitely exceeded my expectations for the price!
Right off the bat, the smell on both is strong and very dank, it really fills up the room. The Hyper Za smells especially potent, but they both smell great.
They both have a perfect amount of stickiness and moisture to them as well, neither bag is dry at all.
Hyper Za has a very sweet, vanilla, doughy smell to it, with VERY potent effects. It started off as a strong euphoria for me, which slowly faded into a couchlocked, heavy indica type of vibe. I was surprised at how strong this was for the price!
Gary Payton has a more earthy, spicy smell to it, with a more balanced, gentle hybrid feeling high. More of a relaxing, mood lifting buzz with less potent effects, but still nice, better suited for a daytime smoke.
Gary Payton, TSB Light Assist
Overall, considering this is budget smoke, I wasn’t expecting to love it very much, but this order was great! I would grab more, and I definitely recommend it if you’re looking to stock up on good herb for a great price.

These are the top 5 small bud options that I would pick from LIT Farms today. These are the 5 freshest batches, and all are grown by LIT themselves. Ordering based on freshness and grower should ensure that you get the best possible product.
#5 is Tropicana Cherry, a cross between tropicana cookies and cherry cookies. You can expect a strong fruity, sour citrus nose with a slightly sativa dominant high.
#4 is Platinum Bubba, a cross between platinum OG kush and bubba kush. Expect a spicy nose and a powerful indica dominant high.
#3 is Pipe dream, a cross of blue dream, Cindy 99 and Acapulco gold. Expect a blueberry nose with mood boosting, bright sativa dominant high.
#2 is Creme Brûlée, a cross of platinum kush, go kush & girl scout cookies. This one will have a nutty, vanilla nose and a relaxing, indica dominant high.
#1 is Zerbert, a cross of sherbert and zkittlez. It’s got a sweet, sour candy nose with a lazy, euphoric, slightly indica dominant high.
Zoap (Rainbow Sherbert x Pink Guava) happens to be one of my favorite strains from LIT. It’s a euphoric hybrid with a strong sour citrus, cherry and earthy scent. Every time I’ve had it from LIT, it’s a sticky, perfectly cured bag.
This batch has a testing date of September 2, 2025.
