Nose: Sour grape, like a kool-aid flavor. Not quite the same as all the other Purple Punch cuts I’ve had in the past, it’s missing a little bit of that classic “cookies” aroma.
Nose doesn’t translate well to flavor at all, and it has a bit of a harsh smoke.
Effects: Strong, mostly indica. Starts with a happy, energetic burst of euphoria, but soon levels out into a calm, relaxing, dreamy and sleepy kind of feeling.
Nose: Big on pine, with maybe a slightly bubblegummy background. The nose was stronger on the gelato jar, but i like the profile of this one more.
Effects: Strong, and hit very indica heavy, for me. A bowl takes me out of the day for a few hours, makes me real couchlocked and ready for a nap. It’s good and strong, but not very good for day time IMO. I definitely need to save this one for night time.
Nose: very loud, heavy on the pine, mixed with a sweet, almost sour grape scent.
The flavor brings out a little more of a spicy and earthy profile.
Effects are very heavy indica, nice strong body buzz with a heavy body feel. It has me knocked out every time, definitely good for night time use! I hardly can use it during the day.
This one would be ideal for people with insomnia, or any night-time activity.
Today we’re taking a look at Gas Light by LIT Farms. They have the genetics listed as Blue Petrol x Wedding Cake, but I believe this is a mistake. LIT has bred their own cut of Gas Light, and their cut is E85 x RS11. I think it’s more likely that they’re selling their own cut of Gas Light and just got the description wrong on accident.
The nose on this strain makes me think I’m right, because I get a lot of gas on the scent here, very reminiscent of the nose on the E85 I’ve had. Very gassy primarily, with a little bit of sweetness baked in.
The flavor in the vape brings out more of the sweetness, with a little bit of a sugary flavor in there. Not as much gas as on the nose. This one smokes and vapes very smooth, it’s a nice feeling on the throat.
This strain really shines, effects-wise. It’s a POTENT indica, with a very relaxing, calm, melt into the couch type of stoney vibe to it. It is a VERY strong herb, not recommended for anyone who’s sensitive to THC! This one comes with a strong punch that can easily knock you out.
Today I’m taking a quick look at 2 different strains under my microscope, an essential and a supreme tier.
This essential we’re looking at is BubbleGum Runtz, and the Supreme is Pineapple Zoap.
I put them both under my microscope to examine the difference between high quality and mid quality flower on a microscopic level.
Top shelf vs low shelf, top shelf vs mid shelf, high grade vs mid grade, high grade vs low grade, any way you want to put it, this was an easy way to answer that question with flower from LIT Farms.
The comparison is very fun to see and I had a good time creating this. I hope someone out there enjoys looking at this as much as I enjoyed creating it!
The nose on this one is mostly gassy and skunky, with just a touch of floral lemon in the background. Smells a little bit chemically, almost like smelling an actual sharpie.
The cure is okay, not exactly my favorite, but not bad at all. Nugs are pretty dense, not super moist, a little bit sticky, but not as sticky as most bags I get from LIT.
That being said, this one really hits. The potency is not lost at all, it’s a very strong high. After vaping a bowl, I had to take a minute to sit down and let an entire cold sweat pass over me, I was not expecting to get so blasted at all. That feeling quickly turned into a very relaxing high, everything slowed down and I could just feel a smile forming on my face.
To me, Sharpiez feels perfect for staying in all day and getting lost in some good movies or books. I feel like I could really focus on a movie right now, and I definitely don’t feel like doing much else after that bowl. I don’t think I COULD use it for much else with how hard it hits me 😂
The nose on this one is great, nice and strong. Pretty heavy on the gas scent, like strong fuel with a decent amount of a sweet, blueberry citrus cream in the background. It’s definitely delicious! The taste shows off more of the creamy, sherbet side of things.
The high on this one is extremely creative! 3 hits in and my brain was just flooded with new ideas for all sorts of different artsy projects and things I now want to get done. It is a VERY nice buzz, in my opinion! Very calming, uplifting and just fun feeling. This one also got me feeling very chatty. I’m usually a pretty quiet person (if you couldn’t tell from my style of video 😂) but this strain had me so invested in a conversation with my family. this one would be great for anyone with social anxiety, or maybe people finding themselves in a creative slump. It’ll get that spark right back!
Nugs are just about perfectly cured. Nice and sticky, trichomes stretch apart, and it lasts a nice long time in both the vape and a regular old bowl. Overall, I’m very happy with this strain, and it’s definitely my new go to for anything that requires creativity and a calm focus. Thanks for reading, and happy smoking!
I bought two different versions of this strain, Ice Cream Runtz, so I could do a comparison. Which is better between the essential and the supreme version?
The supreme has smaller nugs, but much better bag appeal, scent, taste, smoothness and an extremely strong high.
The essential has much bigger nugs, but less bag appeal, scent, taste, has a slightly harsher smoke, and is more of a chill buzz compared to a strong high.
If you’re someone who enjoys indoor, potent flower, supreme is definitely the best tier for you. If you’re someone who enjoys sun grown, mellow flower, essential is absolutely the tier for you, and at a 3rd of the price as well. Can’t go wrong!
Overall, both of these options have their time and place, their pros and cons. It really just comes down to you and your preferences!
Personally, I prefer the supreme tier, I love an overall deluxe, craft cannabis experience, and this certainly delivers. Thanks for watching, and happy smoking yall!
Lineage: Sunset Sherbert x Gelato #41 x Super Lemon Cherry Gelato
Nose is very strong lemon cleaner, heavy on sweet, slightly sour citrus, with almost a hint of a floral windex. This is one of my personal favorite terpene profiles, reminds me of some old school lemon based strains that I don’t really see anymore. This scent is similar to LIT’s Bangkok Purple, if you’ve ever had that one before. It’s a loud one as well, the scent really rushes out of the bag when you open it. The smell translates to the flavor, too.
The bag appeal isn’t quite as great as other supremes in my stash, but the nugs are still very pretty and have a nice trichome coverage.
The cure is great, some of these trichomes are looking amber, and the flower is sticky. It’s a bit harder to break up, just feels like some good sticky icky.
I’d describe the high as gentle, calm and happy. It’s not too extreme or overwhelming, it probably won’t make you anxious. I’d say it’s a good one for beginners. It leans indica, seems good for a lazy day watching movies, or even for combination with a shroom/lsd trip. It’s uplifting and calm, but still gentle and chill enough that it might not overtake your journey from the other things.
Another good term for this kind of buzz would be grounded. I’m feeling great; relaxed and happy, but very much still here on earth and within my body, as opposed to some strains that might send you to space. Great for being productive as well. Overall a nice, tasty strain that I would probably bring to a hangout with friends.
