This one has a nice smell to it, one that really reminds me of grapefruit. There’s some citrus in there as well, but somehow grapefruit dominates, in my opinion. Translates pretty well to taste, too!
These nugs are super dense and not very sticky, but they’re definitely not dry, either. They do break down nice and easy.
High is an awesome sativa feeling, to me at least. Euphoric but relaxed, heady tingles, and just very motivated. This one doesn’t take me out of the game at all, I can keep working or whatever I’m doing without even thinking about it. Seems pretty good for socializing as well!
Overall, I’m pretty happy with this one! If you watch my videos, you may know I’ve been in desperate need of a good sativa, and this is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for watching! Let me know how you like this strain!
Today I’m showing off my top 3 strains from LIT Farms. This is based entirely on my personal opinion, and I’m really just using a blend of criteria for all of this; effects, flavor, scent, terp profile, etc. Just judging them based on which are MY personal top 3!
My 1st place, number one best strain from LIT Farms is definitely Pineapple Zoap. (Video Review Here)The terp profile just agrees with me perfectly, it’s incredible! The scent, flavor and high are all exactly what I want in a flower. A delicious, sour, gassy pineapple citrus scent and flavor, combined with a very happy, calming, stoney high. Some of the best top shelf, dispensary grade flower I’ve ever had right here.
My 2nd place, number two top strain from LIT is Fight Club. (Video Review Here)This one is the most potent strain I’ve gotten from them, with a nice sour citrus nose. It’s a pretty unique hybrid high, that’s both energizing and relaxing at the same time. Highly recommend this one for an experienced, high tolerance stoner looking to get smacked in the face!
My 3rd place is LIT OG. (Video Review Here)This one is LIT’s most classic strain, bred and grown by them originally. The nose is heavy on pine and citrus, like a classic jack herer. It’s a strong indica, very relaxing and smooth. Great for a night time, sleepy kind of vibe.
The nose on this one is mostly gassy and skunky, with just a touch of floral lemon in the background. Smells a little bit chemically, almost like smelling an actual sharpie.
The cure is okay, not exactly my favorite, but not bad at all. Nugs are pretty dense, not super moist, a little bit sticky, but not as sticky as most bags I get from LIT.
That being said, this one really hits. The potency is not lost at all, it’s a very strong high. After vaping a bowl, I had to take a minute to sit down and let an entire cold sweat pass over me, I was not expecting to get so blasted at all. That feeling quickly turned into a very relaxing high, everything slowed down and I could just feel a smile forming on my face.
To me, Sharpiez feels perfect for staying in all day and getting lost in some good movies or books. I feel like I could really focus on a movie right now, and I definitely don’t feel like doing much else after that bowl. I don’t think I COULD use it for much else with how hard it hits me 😂
The nose on this one is great, nice and strong. Pretty heavy on the gas scent, like strong fuel with a decent amount of a sweet, blueberry citrus cream in the background. It’s definitely delicious! The taste shows off more of the creamy, sherbet side of things.
The high on this one is extremely creative! 3 hits in and my brain was just flooded with new ideas for all sorts of different artsy projects and things I now want to get done. It is a VERY nice buzz, in my opinion! Very calming, uplifting and just fun feeling. This one also got me feeling very chatty. I’m usually a pretty quiet person (if you couldn’t tell from my style of video 😂) but this strain had me so invested in a conversation with my family. this one would be great for anyone with social anxiety, or maybe people finding themselves in a creative slump. It’ll get that spark right back!
Nugs are just about perfectly cured. Nice and sticky, trichomes stretch apart, and it lasts a nice long time in both the vape and a regular old bowl. Overall, I’m very happy with this strain, and it’s definitely my new go to for anything that requires creativity and a calm focus. Thanks for reading, and happy smoking!
Why I buy my THCa Flower from LIT Farms. (Almost Exclusively.)
1. They have roots in the industry.
The THCa market all started in 2018, when the Farm Bill (Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018) was passed in the US. Just about every THCa vendor was founded around this time, or after. The 2018 Farm Bill started everything in this market, but it took another few years after that for most vendors to start really testing the waters, and getting bold enough to sell full on, natural THCa flower.
But, none of that really matters here, because LIT Farms was founded by Ray Schiavone in 2017, to breed and cultivate strains for the legal medical market and home growers around the world. Before this, Ray was co-founder of Tahoe Hydroponics, another company that grew medical cannabis for Nevada, starting in 2014.
In fact, at both the 2016 & 2017 Jack Herer Cup in Nevada, (a cannabis competition,) Ray & his team won 1st place for all 3 categories of flower; sativa, indica, and hybrid. Keep in mind, this is years before the THCa market was even a thought in anyones mind.
By 2018, LIT is well established, and very successfully breeding and growing cannabis. They create well known strains like Sticky Rice, Apples and Bananas, Formula 1, Temptation, and over 100 more. They spend a few years selling the seeds they breed, until February of 2024, when they start selling their own flower on their website as well.
Can you find a single other vendor that actually has roots in the industry like that? And can genuinely, very easily prove it with a quick google search? I haven’t seen any others that have that same history, personally. LIT flower is even sold in Nevada & Pennsylvania dispensaries, to this day!
2. The Price:Quality Ratio!
Their LIT Grown, supreme tier flower is some of the highest quality herb you’ll find on this THCa market, without paying about double the price. It’s the same price as I expect to pay at my favorite dispensaries in Michigan, which is a bit of a weed capitol! These prices and quality are even better than a lot of states dispensary programs.
And, with the Supreme tier strains they grow, I always have a good experience. Always a good cure, nice moist flower with a potent buzz and delicious terps.
3. They don’t entertain the BS
Some equally large vendors use manipulative tactics on the THCa subreddits, like mass upvotes/downvotes on posts, creating fake accounts, using AI to advertise, etc. Keep your eyes open, you’ll see some shady things in these forums. LIT does it the best way I could think of, they keep quiet and just let their flower do all the talking. This is something that only people with experience in the weed game seem to understand; good flower sells itself! You don’t need to engage in all the manipulation if you have good flower, you can just let it do it’s thing and the people will flock. And that’s exactly what they do.
4. So, why all the bad reputation?
If you’ve spent a lot of time on the same subreddits I mentioned earlier, you’ve probably seen a fair amount of people trashing LIT. While some of these posts and situations are real, (any vendor will have issues occasionally,) many of them are not. A certain group of people repeatedly took pictures of moldy flower from google, and falsely claimed they came from LIT.
I could only speculate, but I’d bet this is driven by competing vendors, as well as vendors that actually resell LIT flower, and don’t want their customers going straight to the source.
I bought two different versions of this strain, Ice Cream Runtz, so I could do a comparison. Which is better between the essential and the supreme version?
The supreme has smaller nugs, but much better bag appeal, scent, taste, smoothness and an extremely strong high.
The essential has much bigger nugs, but less bag appeal, scent, taste, has a slightly harsher smoke, and is more of a chill buzz compared to a strong high.
If you’re someone who enjoys indoor, potent flower, supreme is definitely the best tier for you. If you’re someone who enjoys sun grown, mellow flower, essential is absolutely the tier for you, and at a 3rd of the price as well. Can’t go wrong!
Overall, both of these options have their time and place, their pros and cons. It really just comes down to you and your preferences!
Personally, I prefer the supreme tier, I love an overall deluxe, craft cannabis experience, and this certainly delivers. Thanks for watching, and happy smoking yall!
Nose is heavy on berries and cream, a little candy. They described it as “a basket overflowing with ripe strawberries dipped in creamy pink lemonade” and I do not disagree one bit. Sour candy comes out a little more in the flavor and exhale.
These nugs are incredibly pretty, bag appeal is amazing on this strain. This one isn’t as sticky as I usually get from LIT, it’s just slightly getting to the dryer side. Not fully ‘dry’ yet, definitely doesn’t crumble at all, but it’s not the most moist flower in my stash.
This one is a bit more of a creeper, it takes a couple minutes to kick in fully. Feels like a very equal hybrid, doesn’t seem to lean one way or another. I’d describe the high as just lifted, floaty, a very nice body buzz with a good amount of mental clarity. Feels like it would be great for pain relief, or going to the gym.
I’m uplifted and relaxed, and I could easily be super chatty right now. This stands out to me as more of a social strain, and I’ll definitely be saving this one for right before events with family and friends.
Lineage: Sunset Sherbert x Gelato #41 x Super Lemon Cherry Gelato
Nose is very strong lemon cleaner, heavy on sweet, slightly sour citrus, with almost a hint of a floral windex. This is one of my personal favorite terpene profiles, reminds me of some old school lemon based strains that I don’t really see anymore. This scent is similar to LIT’s Bangkok Purple, if you’ve ever had that one before. It’s a loud one as well, the scent really rushes out of the bag when you open it. The smell translates to the flavor, too.
The bag appeal isn’t quite as great as other supremes in my stash, but the nugs are still very pretty and have a nice trichome coverage.
The cure is great, some of these trichomes are looking amber, and the flower is sticky. It’s a bit harder to break up, just feels like some good sticky icky.
I’d describe the high as gentle, calm and happy. It’s not too extreme or overwhelming, it probably won’t make you anxious. I’d say it’s a good one for beginners. It leans indica, seems good for a lazy day watching movies, or even for combination with a shroom/lsd trip. It’s uplifting and calm, but still gentle and chill enough that it might not overtake your journey from the other things.
Another good term for this kind of buzz would be grounded. I’m feeling great; relaxed and happy, but very much still here on earth and within my body, as opposed to some strains that might send you to space. Great for being productive as well. Overall a nice, tasty strain that I would probably bring to a hangout with friends.
Nose is loud pine and citrus, with just a tiny touch of cream from the Runtz in the background. Cure is beautiful, when I pull a piece off of a nug, I can watch the super resinous trichome strands peel apart, like cheese on a pizza when you lift a slice. It’s beautiful, and one of my favorite signs of quality flower.
Flavor is a little more fruity and sweet, with more gas as well.
This one is widely known as a strong indica, and I can feel that, but to me personally, it hits a little bit more energetic than an average indica. I’m definitely highly relaxed & stoned, with a very clear and calm mind, just not couch locked at all. I wouldn’t mind going for a nice long walk in the sun on this strain. It will definitely help me sleep when I smoke it at night, though. I’d say it’s a good strain for any time of the day personally, despite it being a strong indica. It’s a great one to really relax, forget all your issues and worries, and just take deep breaths as the world slows around you.
Lineage: The Soap x Velvet Runtz Originally bred by LIT
Nose is nice and loud, kind of a unique scent. Sour, soapy, with a little citrus gas on the end. Cure is good, nice sticky buds, good looking trichomes. Nothing too special, but well done and grinds nicely.
This one stands out as the most potent strain I’ve had in a very long time. To be clear, that includes legit dispensary flower, black market flower, & thca market flower. I frequently get to have all of the above, and this Fight Club has consistently been getting me SMACKED. More smacked than I have been in a long, long time, and this is every time I smoke it. It’s been a few days now, and it’s definitely just a very strong batch of this strain.
It hits me like an almost even hybrid high, maybe a little sativa leaning. Starts cerebrally, immediately giving me a very euphoric rush of mental energy, right off the first exhale. I can feel it in my head, very similar to the old school headband strain, if you remember that from years ago. It hits like a sativa in that sense, yet I’m almost couch locked as well, which is a pretty fun and unique combo for a buzz.
Great for video games, or maybe some artsy hobbies like painting or playing guitar. I want to say it’s great for a day off outside, but too many hits of this could easily be a day ender.
If you’re sensitive to weed, this is not the one for you. This is the hardest hitting herb I’ve had in years. Be warned! Feels fantastic if you’re an experienced smoker, though!
